To cultivate primary students’ interest in table tennis and unlock their athletic potential, our school participated in the 'EdUHK Ping Pong @ School Education Programme' on 20 November 2025.
We were deeply honoured to welcome Ms. Lee Ho Ching, Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist, along with her experienced coaching team from The Education University of Hong Kong. They visited our school to personally teach students the fundamentals of grip, serving, and striking techniques, offering them a rare opportunity to experience the essence of professional training up close. The athletes and coaches also gave engaging introductions to the history of table tennis and its cultural significance as China’s national sport, enriching students’ understanding from both technical and cultural perspectives.
This inspiring event not only brought students face-to-face with world-class athletes and ignited their enthusiasm for table tennis, but also instilled in them the core values of perseverance, focus, and respect through the spirit of sport.
